This 5 week professionally designed baby massage course, developed by the International Association of Infant Massage, combines the Indian and Swedish massage techniques with key principles of reflexology and yoga. Thoughtfully structured and guided by evidence informed practice, the course offers parents a calm, supportive environment to learn techniques that promote relaxation, healthy development and a meaningful connection with your baby.

Baby massage enhances bonding and supports the development of a secure attachment between parent and child. Through loving touch, eye contact and responsive communication, babies feel loved, respected and safe.
Baby massage supports healthy development by stimulating all major bodily systems, including the circulatory, lymphatic and immune as well as the nervous and vestibular systems. Gentle touch activates skin receptors that encourage the release of oxytocin, a hormone that nurtures emotional wellbeing and supports healthy brain development.

Little Lotus strives to always create a safe and welcoming environment, making your time spent relaxing and fun! You will receive a bottle of massage oil and an illustrated guide summarising each massage stroke with additional information to continue practice at home.
At the end of each weekly session, you’ll be invited to unwind together over a cup of tea and some sweet treats. This space for conversation and connection is designed to encourage parents to share experiences and reflections on a range of thoughtful topics - from birth stories and emotional wellbeing to managing stress and navigating early stages such as weaning.

The course is held weekly across a five-week period with each session lasting 90 mins.
All you will need is a blanket for your baby, nappies and wipes! Please note we can currently only accommodate one adult per baby for this course. If you have any special requirements, please get in touch via email so your needs can be accommodated.
